Mendenhall Police Chief Jimbo Sullivan denies ever having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Sullivan took the stand at his trial Wednesday and told the jury he was leading the young girl on because he thought she was having sexual relations with another officer, and he was trying to get information.
The alleged victim testified she did have sex with the chief on three different occasions, once in his patrol car.
Sullivan's first trial for sexual battery ended with a hung jury.
