Laurel man arrested on peeping tom charges

A Laurel business owner is behind bars for allegedly being a peeping tom.

Authorities say David Thompson, the part owner of The Scrub Shop in Sawmill Square Mall, was arrested Wednesday evening on voyeurism charges.

Police say for the last year, the 37-year-old Wayne County man allegedly placed peep holes in several dressing rooms at his store and watched customers while they tried on uniforms.

Police say an investigation is under way.

A judge set bond for Thompson at $20,000.
