A Forrest County family was given a very special house-warming today.
Harvey and Virginia Moore lost their home in Hurricane Katrina more than two years ago. Friday, thanks to the help of several volunteer and service organizations, they were given the keys to a brand new home.
The project was headed by the Southern Miss Institute for Disability Studies and a Christian missions group from Canada.
"They've been here for the past month," said Sheila Vernado, Executive Director of the Institute. "They started the house and finished the house. This will be a house the Moore's can live in with no cost to them."
