Vandals destroy local mailboxes on Easter

Residents in Jones and Covington Counties are spending their Easter weekend dealing with vandals.

Someone is destroying private property, and authorities are trying to put a stop to it.

Jones County Sheriff's Department officials are looking for suspects in a red pick-up truck who allegedly bashed about 24 mailboxes on four different roads in south Jones County.

Those officials say the suspects also damaged property in Covington County.
