Laurel police ask for help finding shooter

Laurel police are looking for an unknown individual who allegedly opened fire in the Queensburg Community Sunday morning.

"The Laurel Police Department is seeking your assistance," said Wilbert Chamberlain, Jones County Crimestoppers Coordinator. "In the early morning hours of this past Sunday an individual fired off several rounds from a weapon somewhere in the vacinity of Brown Circle."

Many of the rounds ended up going into the area of Johnson Circle where they struck a residence there. Although there were no injuries, police officers are desperately in need of information on ther individual who fired these rounds.
