One person is dead and three others are injured after an accident involving at least three vehicles on Hwy 42 east of Petal High School Thursday.
Authorities say the driver of a 1996 Ford F-250, Herbert Jenkins, was backing a boat into a driveway when an oncoming vehicle hit the truck broadside. His passenger, Suzanne Thompson, suffered moderate injuries.
Betty Langley, 71, who was driving a 1995 Cadillac was killed in the crash. Passenger Deborah Langley is listed in serious but stable condition, and passanger Brittany Langley was reported to have suffered minor injuries.
