Bill stumps for Hillary on Katrina-battered Mississippi coast

Former president Bill Clinton

stumped for his wife today in Pass Christian, which was almost

wiped out by Hurricane Katrina.

At a high school in Pass Christian, he tailored his pitch for

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign to voters on

the road to recovery from the storm.

Clinton ran down his wife's resume and legislative record,

including her support for reforming the National Flood Insurance

Program and for rebuilding wetlands destroyed by the storm on

August 29, 2005.

The former president also reminded the audience that he and

former president George H.W. Bush raised millions of dollars for

Mississippi after the storm.
