A federal appeals court panel will begin a
week of hearings tomorrow (Monday) at the University of Mississippi
where they also will spend time with law school students and
faculty.
The three-judge panel from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
has 13 cases scheduled for argument Monday through Thursday at the
Law Center on campus in Oxford.
Since the mid-1980s, the 5th Circuit has taken its hearings on
the road to law schools throughout its three-state circuit of
Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas.
A 5th Circuit panel last visited Ole Miss in 2004.
