In Biloxi, Hwy 90 construction has reached the Mississippi Coast Coliseum at a bad time.
Saturday's sold out Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban concert is one of the major events booked inside the arena this week.
Unfortunately, at the Coliseum's main gate, there is just one lane of traffic open in each direction. So, Coliseum leaders are urging people with tickets to leave home early. That way, they can fight the gridlock and get to their seats on time.
"People with old habits will try to converge on the facility within one hour prior to the show, and expect to just drive in," said Coliseum Director Bill Holmes. "We're trying to alert all of our patrons to please come early."
The Coliseum will have satellite parking and shuttle buses available on Saturday night to help limit the amount of traffic near the facility.
