Camp Shelby officials have decided to turn the case of a missing Kentucky National Guardman over to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Officials say 19-year-old Pvt. 1st class Ryan K. Longnecker disappeared from Camp Shelby in August 2007, two weeks before his deployment to Iraq.
Longnecker's military issued 9-millmeter handgun and M-4 rifle were also missing at the time of his disappearance.
