A yearlong drug investigation targeting street-level drug sales in Crystal Springs resulted in the arrests Tuesday of 16 people.
Among them was 66-year-old man Wallace Watson, who has been charged with sale of marijuana and conspiracy to sell marijuana.
Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Director Marshall Fisher says those arrested face felony sale, conspiracy and possession charges involving crack, cocaine, marijuana, and the prescription drug oxycodone.
Fisher says arrest warrants have been issued for 19 other people.
Participating in the drug roundup and investigations along with MBN were the Copiah County Sheriff's Office, Crystal Springs Police Department and Hazlehurst Police Department.
