A man was found dead Saturday next to a car in a grassy area along the Causeway near downtown Mobile. The body was spotted by a helicopter pilot as he flew overhead.
Police released few details but said they are probing the death as a homicide. Cause of death was not immediately determined.
The pilot spotted the car and body at about 2:15 p.m. off Addsco Road, which runs parallel with Battleship Parkway.
The man's vehicle is a gray, four-door Volkswagen with a Mississippi license tag. Police appealed for the public to call (251) 208-7211 with any information about the case.
