The owner of a failed beef plant that cost Mississippi taxpayers millions of dollars is reporting to federal prison.
Richard N. Hall admitted in January 2006 to converting $751,000 in public and corporate funds for private use.
In August, Hall was sentenced to eight-years in prison on federal money laundering and mail fraud charges. And he was sentenced this past Friday to eight years on state charges of committing mail fraud. The sentences will run concurrently.
Hall will serve out the time at a federal prison in Texarkana, Texas.
