Second autopsy ordered in Prentiss County case

A second autopsy was being conducted to determine the cause of death of Pamela S. Dailey, whose body was found July 2 in a creek near the Fossil Park in the Frankstown community.

Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar said Thursday that the results from the second autopsy should be available in a week.

Tolar said after the first autopsy, a pathologist could not give a cause of death for the 28-year-old Dailey, whose partially clad body was found in Twenty-Mile Creek.

Results from the first toxicology report did not indicate an overdose or poisoning, Tolar said.

Tolar said the investigation into her death continues.
