Some residents of a community just outside the city limits of Lumberton are outraged over their new neighbors.
Thousands of FEMA trailers are being stored along Grady Brown Road. The privately owned land was leased out to FEMA as a storage site.
The facility may have created about 30 jobs but the new scenery isn't very appealing to some residents living along that road, who say it's an eyesore that could bring down property values.
Members of the family who leased the land say they were advised by FEMA to decline comment, but they do tell 7 ON YOUR SIDE they were just trying to help.
