Forrest General's president honored by Boy Scouts

The president of Forrest General Hospital has been honored by the Boy Scouts.  Tonight, Bill Oliver received the Pine Burr Area Council's Distinguished Citizen's Award.

He was guest of honor at a banquet at the Lake Terrace Convention Center.  Oliver is a past president of the Pine Burr Area Council and has headed Forrest General for 11 years.

Past recipients of the award include Governor Haley Barbour, former U.S.M. president Shelby Thames and former Hattiesburg mayor Bobby Chain.
