Suspect in Jeff Davis double murder arrested in Wisconsin

A Jeff Davis County man on the run for over a year has been arrested in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and will be returned to Mississippi to face two murder charges.

Demetrius Rhodes was arrested in Green Bay this week on felony drug charges.  Rhodes was using a different name at the time of his arrest.

A check of NCIC found that Rhodes was wanted in Prentiss for the July 2006 murders of 20-year-old Randolph Sands and his 19-year-old cousin, Roberto McInnis.  The two men were shot to death in front of the Church of Christ on Highway 84 and Grandby Road. A third person was wounded in the shooting.

Sheriff Henry McCullum says efforts are underway to bring Rhodes back to Mississippi to face charges.
