David Warner, a man labeled by federal authorities as a major drug supplier, has been sitting in the Jones County jail awaiting sentencing for guilty pleas entering 18 months ago.
In March 2006 in federal court in Hattiesburg, Warner pleaded guilty to conspiring to possess 150 kilograms of cocaine with intent to distribute it and agreed to forfeit $62,034 and his interest in 20 acres and a luxury home in Jefferson Davis County.
The 33-year-old Warner was arrested in July 2005 in Mexico, 13 months after federal, state and local law enforcement agencies raided his 5,100-square-foot home, about six miles west of Prentiss.
Court officials say Warner is expected to be sentenced in September.
