Pascagoula police have charged two people, including a widow, for the murder of a man who was shot to death in his bed nearly a decade ago.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd said deputies arrested 34-year-old Karrie Linnette Glenn, of Pascagoula, on Tuesday night at a Pascagoula bar where she worked. She was charged with capital murder.
Three days earlier, deputies went to Moncks Corner, South Carolina, where they arrested alleged co-conspirator 30-year-old David Allen Stokes, also on a charge of capital murder.
They are wanted in connection with Tony Glenn Junior's death.
Glenn was 29 when he was shot as he lay in bed at his house in Orange Grove on July 27, 1998.
Byrd says police believe Glenn's widow conspired with Stokes to kill her husband.
Glenn and Stokes are being held at the Jackson County jail without bond. No date has been set for an initial court appearance.
