Laurel man charged for arson, robbery

A Laurel man is in jail charged with armed robbery and arson.

Police say 27-year-old Richard Glispy allegedly set his home on Lindsey on fire Saturday night. Authorities say after Glipsy started the fired he called 911 minutes before he robbed the Kangaroo gas station on Highway 84 East at knifepoint.

Police say Glispy is in jail awaiting bond.
