14-year-old among those charged in armed robbery

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a check-cashing store in Jackson.
Jackson Police Department spokesman Commander Lee Vance said the suspects face one count of attempted armed robbery of a business and one count of armed robbery of an individual.
The suspects are 14-year-old Jerry Cortez Young, of Jackson, and 22-year-old Calvin Lacy, of Lexington who police say robbed a Cash Connection check-cashing store Tuesday.
