One dead, one injured in Marshall County crash

A Tennessee driver is dead and another person has been injured in two-vehicle crash in Marshall County.  The Mississippi Highway Patrol confirms today that the accident occurred early Monday at a Highway 72 intersection in Marshall County.

Officers said 56-year-old Hubert A. Williams, of Memphis, was southbound on Mississippi Highway 311 when his pickup truck collided at an intersection with a vehicle being driven by 30-year-old Olympia A. Anderson, of Bolivar, Tennessee.  Police say Anderson was eastbound on Highway 72.
Authorities said Williams was pronounced dead at the scene and Anderson is being treated for injuries.
