2 more sisters arrested in 2nd child abduction in north Mississippi

Two suspects in a second child abduction

case in northeast Mississippi are expected to be extradited from

Louisiana next week.

The baby's biological mother, Nicole Potts, and her sister,

Julan Lincks, face charges they kidnapped a 3-year-old.

They were arrested Monday in Thibodaux, La. Authorities say the

women took the baby from an uncle who is the child's legal

Sheriff Jim Johnson says the women are expected to be back in

Lee County by Wednesday.

Potts and Lincks were arrested after authorities in Louisiana

found a warrant accusing them of abducting Potts' 3-year-old.

A spokesman for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Department says

that Potts made a complaint that she was receiving harassing calls

from Mississippi.

She was told to come in to the department and was arrested when

authorities found an outstanding warrant.

Potts is believed to have given parental rights over the child

to its father's brother in 2004, Weidell said.
