Bryant vs Ross at Neshoba County Fair

They've battled it out in TV commercials, and now the two contenders for lieutenant governor on the Republican ticket took their campaigns to the stump.

State Auditor Phil Bryant and state Sen. Charlie Ross took center stage at the Neshoba County Fair Wednesday.

Ross told the fair crowd that his decade of experience in the Senate will be an advantage if he becomes the chamber's presiding officer.

Bryant says he has often heard his opponent talk about getting bills passed at the Capitol, but Bryant says nothing is done alone in the Legislature.
