Fast-food manager robbed of night deposit

Laurel police are investigating a late-night robbery at a local bank.

Investigators say around 11:30 Monday night they responded to a 911 call at Community Bank on 16th Avenue.  A manager from the Popeye's Chicken on Beacon Street was getting ready to drop cash into the overnight deposit box when two black men came from behind the building demanding her cash bag.

Police say they have very little to go on at this time but they are looking at the video from bank cameras to develop leads.
