FBI, IRS search FEMA trailer contractor

The FBI confirms that two of its agents along with agents from the IRS served a search warrant on a company that maintains thousands of FEMA trailers in Mississippi.

Alcatec LLC has been under U.S. Department of Labor scrutiny following complaints by current and former employees who claimed they did not receive all the overtime due to them.

An investigation revealed Alcatec used an improper pay scale to determine overtime hours.

The company, which is located near Brooklyn in south Forrest County, is owned by Rosemary Barbour, the wife of Hinds County supervisor Charles Barbour, a nephew to Gov. Haley Barbour.
