Metro Crime Stoppers: Offering reward following this week's arson

A Metro Crime Stoppers official says the organization is offering a $1000 cash reward for tips on this week's fire at a Hattiesburg landmark.

Officials say someone intentionally set the Historic Hattiesburg High School building on fire.  The incident on Main Street in Hattiesburg caused thousands of dollars in damage and endangered the lives of nearby residents.

Metro Crime Stoppers says they will pay cash for tips leading to a felony arrest in this case.  No calls are recorded or traced, and tipsters are given a confidential identification number, which can be turned in to claim reward money.
