Two Jones County brothers were injured this morning when their car crashed during the middle of a fight between the two siblings.
Authorities say Chris Walters allegedly lost control of a Chevy Z71 while travelling south on Highway 11 in Eastabutchie shortly after 10am. Officials say Walter's brother Justin allegedly grabbed the wheel, causing his brother to lose control of the vehicle. The truck flipped several times before hitting a power pole. State troopers say the two had been drinking and were fighting while driving. Officials say Justin Walters was tossed from the vehicle but the driver was trapped inside until AMR arrived on the scene.
Justin Walters is out on bond pending grand jury action following his arrest in October 2006 on child molestation charges involving his then 14-year-old girlfriend.
