One of Mississippi's universities could play host to the next president of the United States.
The Commission on Presidential Debates is considering the University of Mississippi among 19 sites nationwide for the 2008 debates.
The nonprofit, nonpartisan group will pick the four sites for debates between candidates for president and vice president in 2008. The commission plans to release a list of selected sites in October.
