Forrest County officials are investigating a rash of early morning break-ins at two schools. Officials say North Forrest High School and North Forrest Elementary were broken into around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
District employees say they're assessing damage caused by the vandals. Officials say instruction at both locations is continuing with minimal disruption.
"We are working with the authorities and plan to pursue information until we locate those involved," Deputy Superintendent Debbie Burt and Assistant Superintendent Brian Freeman said in a statement to 7 ON YOUR SIDE.
