Lamar residents swimming in sewage

Residents of a West Hattiesburg trailer park are up in arms over the lack of action by their landlord.  Donald Swan and his wife were relocated by FEMA a month ago in what was supposed to be an upgrade from a trailer they occupied in Purvis.

Since moving they have had to deal with raw sewage seeping from a pipe at the front of their trailer.  They have talked with the park manager to no avail.

7 on Your Side attempted to contact the park manager but he was unavailable.  However, Swan's stepson has spoken to the park manager who says the owner has been unresponsive.

7 on Your Side spoke with Lamar County officials about the sewage problem who promptly took action to resolve the problem by contacting the Health Department, FEMA, and the Planning Committee.
