With incumbent Phil Bryant going after a higher office, the field of candidates for state auditor is adding up.
Forrest County administrator Mike Sumrall made it two, jumping into the race as a Democrat, following Republican state Sen. Stacey Pickering of Jones County.
Sumrall worked 25 years for the state auditor. If elected, he wants to expand the use of computers in the audit process.
Sumrall says he'll file qualifying papers on Friday.
