Hometown jury won't hear murder case

A judge has agreed to move the capital murder trial of an accused cop killer out of Stone County.

Circuit Judge Roger Clark granted a change of venue for Ronald Husband, accused in the November 2005 slayings of Wiggins police officers Odell Fite and Brandon Breland.

The defense asked for the move, citing pretrial news coverage and the victims' prominence.

Judge Clark has not decided where or when the trial will be held.
