Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon for a long-time Forrest County Sheriff's deputy who died Friday.
50-year-old Deputy Sheriff Gary Ross Carter passed away of pancreatic cancer.
He worked 16-years for the Forrest County Sheriff's Department.
A wake is set for Monday night from 5 to 9 p.m. at Hullett-Winstead Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the McLaurin Methodist Church.
Carter is survived his wife and several children.
