HPD: 1 down, 2 to go in drive-by probe

One of three fugitives being sought in connection with Monday's drive-by shooting in Hattiesburg has been apprehended.

Tommy Hill, 19, was arrested Friday afternoon by Hattiesburg police acting on an anonymous tip.

Hill, his 22 year old brother David, and a third unnamed suspect are wanted for questioning in the drive-by shooting at Hall and John streets in which a stray bullet wounded a 12-year-old girl in the hand.

Authorities believe the suspects were firing at someone else in the vicinity.

The hunt continues for the other two.
