Mack: no hard feelings after close vote

Laurel Mayor Melvin Mack says he's glad Tuesday night's council meeting is behind him.

His chief administrator Gary Suddith barely kept his job, when three of seven council members voted against the mayor's appointee.

Mack says he's glad council members expressed how they felt, and he knows his administration has work to do. But he says nobody walked away from the meeting with any personal animosity, and it's business as usual at city hall.
