Big music sues 4 in Miss for downloads

A federal lawsuit has been filed against four Mississippians for illegal music downloading.

The Recording Industry Association of American identified one of the defendants as Ginger Campbell of Laurel. The others are from Pass Christian, Jackson, and Holly Springs.

The defendants are accused of using illegal sharing services which allow for free music downloads that allegedly violate the plaintiff's exclusive rights of reproduction and distribution.

The filings are part of a larger effort to rid the music industry of illegal downloading.
