Lawn mowers, trailer stolen from Hattiesburg schools

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hattiesburg police are searching for leads in a grand larceny case after someone stole multiple items from the Hattiesburg Public School District Maintenance Department.

Someone broke into the maintenance yard in the 200 block of Dauphine Street between July 28 and July 29 around 1 a.m., according to Hattiesburg Police Department spokesman Ryan Moore.

Moore said two Hustler One-X Zero-Turn 60-inch lawn mowers and an Underwood 16-foot single axle trailer were among the items taken. The items may be marked with an "HPSD" stencil on them.
