A man changed his not-guilty plea in federal court on Aug. 9. William Russell Oswalt pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute (a) controlled substance at the William J. Colmer Federal Building before District Judge Keith Starrett..
Attorney's on behalf of the government said Oswalt supplied drugs such as heroin to people in Forrest County. They also said he met with a supplier in New Orleans to receive drugs to sell in the county.
