FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -
Brandon Easterling entered a guilty plea during his change of plea hearing on Aug. 9 at the William J. Colmer Federal Building before District Judge Keith Starrett. Easterling pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Lawyers on behalf of the government stated during the hearing that Easterling was involved in "drug trafficking" in Forrest County. Additionally, an undercover agent bought one gram of Methamphetamine with a street value of $1800.00 from him .
Easterling will appear in court again for sentencing.
