Armless Florida man stabs tourist, police say

(RNN) - An armless Florida man has been charged with stabbing a Chicago tourist in Miami.

Miami police officials say 46-year-old Jonathan Crenshaw, a homeless man, held a pair of scissors with his feet and stabbed 22-year-old Cesar Coronado twice then fled the scene.

The incident happened just after midnight on Tuesday.

According to the incident report, Crenshaw said he was lying down when Coronado approached him and punched him in the head.

The Miami Herald reports a friend who was traveling with Coronado said they asked Crenshaw for directions when he suddenly jumped up and stabbed Coronado in his arm.

Crenshaw is a popular fixture in the area and is known for painting on canvases in South Beach, according to local news outlets. He has been charged with aggravated battery.

    The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Missing/Endangered Child Alert for four-year-old William Holley III of Clarksdale. He was last seen Saturday at approximately 11:45 a.m. near the Hampton Inn and McDonald's on Highway 49 South in Clarksdale, in Coahoma County.
