LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -
The South Central Foundation will be hosting a free Children's Health Fair on Saturday in Laurel.
The children's fair is for children ages 12 and under and will be at South Central Place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will be health education oriented and have several interactive booths and activities for kids and parents.
The event will feature fingerprinting and photo identification registry, car seat check, fire safety course, Be Your Best Self Mobile Classroom, ambulance and fire truck tours, health education booths, health screenings and more. Other fun activities include games, face painting, balloons, photo booths, food vendors and door prizes.
South Central partnered with Central Creativity, the Laurel-Jones County Library and Laurel Main Street for the event.
