The Forrest General Healthcare Foundation is hosting it's third "Win this Car" raffle to benefit it's Let's Connect campaign.

"This year it will go to our current campaign called Lets Connect," said Martha Dearman, Executive Director of the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation. "It's all about helping people connect, people to people, be it if you need a cellphone charger. We're going to be putting charging stations all over the hospital. We will also be bringing in new dedicated Wi-Fi and lines for a new guest network."

The campaign will help allow patients and their families to contact each other easily, and check their e-mails or perform other office work. An internet café will be added to Forrester’s Cafeteria, allowing internet access to those in need.

As another part of the Let’s Connect campaign, new outdoor areas and walking spaces will be created to allow patients, their families and Forrest General employees a chance to relax, refresh and enjoy each other’s company close to the hospital’s campus.

Raffle tickets are already on sale for a chance to win a 2018 Toyota RAV-4 Limited.

Participants may use a credit card to order tickets online at forresthealth.org/winthiscar by 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, or by mailing a completed order form with $75 payment to Forrest General Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 19010, Hattiesburg, MS 39404, postmarked by Friday, Aug. 24. Tickets will also be on sale in the Foundation office at 125 S. 28th Ave., Suite 149, Hattiesburg, until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018.

The drawing will be on August the 30 at 6 p.m. at Toyota of Hattiesburg.

"You're helping make a difference in our community, and we couldn't do it without you," Dearman said. "We hope that you'll take a moment and purchase a ticket. You may be the one that wins. We sold out last year a month before the drawing, and I feel confident we will sell out again."

You only have until Friday August 24th to purchase your ticket.
