JACKSON, MS (WDAM) - A Columbus woman was arrested at her home Wednesday and charged with two counts of child exploitation for possession of child pornography.
Attorney General Jim Hood announced the arrest of 25-year-old Jamie Tracey in a news release Thursday. AG Cybercrime investigators, with help from the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, took Tracey into custody after an investigation into suspicious online activity, according to the press release.
If convicted, Tracey faces up to 80 years in prison.
The case will be prosecuted by Special Attorney General Brandon Ogburn.
