Two Wayne County War Eagles are moving on from high school baseball but they will remain teammates.
Tre Williamson and Rodricus Watkins both signed with Coahoma Community College on Monday.
"It feels good, especially to be going with one of my teammates,” Williamson said. “It feels good to keep a teammate with me."
"Feels great, feels like a new chapter in my life,” Watkins said. “Everything feels good and it's going well right now."
"They've put in the work,” said Wayne County head coach Ian Sharp. “They have the ability to do it and for them to do that it says tremendous things about our program but also just their ability. They are great players that are getting the opportunity to go and better themselves and to continue to play. Any day you get to do that it's a special day."
