JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Three years ago, we were all divided by a dress. Now it's an audio clip that has friends, families and coworkers split into two groups: those who hear "laurel" and those who hear "yanny".

It started when someone posted a video clip on Reddit and asked the question, "What do you hear? Yanny or Laurel."

The clip has made its way across multiple social media sites and people are freaking out. 

The "audio illusion" is definitely leaving everyone confused and convinced that those who hear the opposite are obviously trolling. 

Here are some of the responses:

One Twitter user offered his explanation, adjusting the bass levels and many are saying they are able to hear where the word changes.

The department posted on their Facebook seeking help finding Trey Pickens.  Jasper County Sheriff's Department, Mississippi He is wanted for burglary and "questioning on another incident."
