MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Lights, camera, action!  A Brandon Middle School student was on the red carpet and in the spotlight Monday night.

13-year-old Aiden Flowers is the star of a new movie filmed in Germany and South Africa.

A screening was held Monday night at Malco Grandview in Madison for Robin Watch for Wishes. The screening benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mississippi.

The movie is about a father who discovers the secret bucket list of his terminally ill son. Producers say it's about more than entertainment. They call it a social impact and charity campaign.

Aiden juggles his acting career with his education. He is giving thanks to the Rankin County School District for supporting his work.

"They send me my work when I need it. They understand when I may have to leave for a couple of weeks at a time during the school year," said Flowers. "There have been a couple of years where I've been out of school more than I've been in."

"I was very impressed with the way he was working because during the shoot he had to have somebody to do all his school work with,” said producer Caroline Muhl.

The movie is available on YouTube and online. Every time it is viewed, a donation will be made to charities like the Ronald McDonald House.
