HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Over 500 people waited in line for the grand opening of the Treasure Hunt store at the Westover Crossing in Hattiesburg this morning.

Store officials are excited to be moved out a little farther west to be closer to some of their other customers, but still close to it's original location. The store carries everything from TVs, housewares, clothing and anything else that you might find at major retail outlets.

"We had a great turnout this morning so far," said Carlie Bounds, marketing director of Treasure Hunt. "We are really excited to be here in this location, right here behind Olive Garden on [Highway] 98. They are just piling through the doors and we are restocking as we can."

Prior to the move, Treasure Hunt had been at the Cloverleaf Mall location since 1995.
