HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Dozens of students at William Carey University shared their biological and medical research Friday.

An annual symposium featured the research of students in the master of biological sciences program and some medical school students. And two lectures were presented.

"I am really, really happy with the quality of posters that we've had," said Dr. Everett Roark, assistant dean of Pre-Professional Sciences for the College of Osteopathic Medicine at William Carey University. "The students have done excellent research and I'm glad that we have this opportunity to be able to showcase it."

This was the fourth year for the symposium.
