The National Weather Service in Jackson confirms a tornado touched down in Lamar County during a round of severe weather on Saturday, April 14.
According to NWS, the storm had estimated peak winds of 95 mph and a maximum width of 200 yards.

No injuries or deaths were reported during the storm.
